Unlock Chapters
Every book you’ve read, ready to answer.
What it is
A searchable copy of the books you own. Add them once and they are split along their own chapters, indexed by meaning, and kept. From then on you ask a question in plain language and get passages back — each one carrying its book, its section and its page, so you can check where an answer came from.
It never writes an answer of its own. What comes back is the text of the book itself, not a summary of it.
How it works
Advisors
A reading stance made out of books you chose. You point it at a few titles and describe, in a sentence, how it should read them. Asking it pulls from those books only — so you can see whether an idea comes from a book you rate or one you don’t. Build as many as you like: one per shelf, one per decision.
What comes back
It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest.
Does an AI read my books?
A book is sent once, when you add it, to be indexed, and never again. The question you type is sent each time you ask, to be turned into the same kind of index so it can be matched by meaning. Nothing is generated from it: you get the passages back, not a written answer. Nothing in your library is used to train anything. Your library is visible to you and to the tools you connect yourself — a connection can read, and it stops the moment you disconnect it.
