Enumlabs is one person, Martin Brummerstedt, building two products: stagepost and Unlock Chapters. This page says what each one stores about you, who else sees it, and how long it lasts. Where the honest answer is “more than you might expect” it says that too.
Who is responsible
Enumlabs, operated by Martin Brummerstedt in Denmark, is the data controller for stagepost.io, unlockchapters.com and this site. Because that is an EU establishment, the GDPR applies to all of it, whichever country you are in.
Reach a human at martin@enumstudio.com. There is no separate privacy team to route you through.
Signing in with Google
Both products let you sign in with a Google account. When you do, Google asks for your permission and then hands us three things: openid, email and profile. In practice that means your email address, your name, your profile picture, and the stable numeric ID Google uses for your account.
That is the whole list. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or anything else in your Google account, and the consent screen will never ask you for them. We use the numeric ID rather than the email address to recognise you on the way back, because email addresses can change hands and numeric IDs cannot.
Signing in with Google is optional. Both products also work with an email address and a password, and stagepost additionally supports GitHub. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions, which stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete the account you already created here.

Who else processes it
We keep this list short on purpose. Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions, not a party we sell anything to. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics on any of these sites.
How long we keep it
Stagepost messages go on the schedule above, without you asking. Everything else, your account and anything you uploaded, is kept until you delete it or ask us to.
Unlock Chapters has self-serve deletion in Settings. Deleting your account there removes the account, your books, and the original files you uploaded. For stagepost, email us and we will do the same. Backups roll off on their own within 30 days, so a deleted thing can survive that long in a backup before it is gone for good.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, take it elsewhere in a portable form, or object to a particular use. Ask at martin@enumstudio.com and you will get an answer within 30 days. We do not charge for this and we will not ask you why.
Our legal bases are the contract between us for running your account and storing your content, legitimate interest for keeping the services secure and working, and consent where you gave it, such as choosing to sign in with Google. If you think we have handled something badly you can complain to your local supervisory authority, which for Denmark is Datatilsynet. We would rather you told us first.
Security, and its limits
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as hashes, sessions expire, and each account can only reach its own content. That said, these are small products run by one person rather than a company with a security team, and no system is beyond reach. Please do not store anything in them that would seriously hurt you to lose or to have exposed.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and, for anything significant, you get an email. Continuing to use the products after that means the new version applies.
